1996 Grand Cherokee power window stuck
How do I remove the regulator and motor assemble with the window in the down position? The passenger side front window is stuck in the down position, power to motor verified (read with voltmeter +12 and -12 when switch is toggled), motor clicks (makes a sound) but will not move. I am trying to remove the motor and power window regulator, however all manuals and web sites assume window is up so that you have assess to the nuts holding the regulator to the glass, but with the window in the down position I can see the nuts but I have no access to them.
Though I would ask and see,

Once you get the door panel off you just have to push the window up from the bottom side. Sometimes it takes a bit of force to get started, but put enough muscle in and you'll get it. Then use blue painters tape at the top to hold it in the up position while you replace the internals.

Window not moving
Short of using a crow-bar the window is not budging.
The service manual from Chrysler, page 8S-6, says; “(3) Loosen the two nuts securing the door glass to the window regulator lift plate”, “(4) Slide the door glass rearward to remove it from the nuts.”! But with the window down I can not get to the nuts to loosen them.

Have you tried applying upward pressure on the glass while pressing the power up button.
When my window sticks the regulator normally gets a grip if I do that.
