my tail lights do not work and my dash does not illuminate. Every time i replace the fuse it pops instantly. I have already replaced the switch and tore apart the dash and taillights looking for frayed, pinched wires etc. I have heard it could be something with the wiring to the hatch or the towing kit. Also, should i check the relays? It does have an aftermarket radio and speakers but they still work. What to check next?? Any help is appreciated.

 

SOLUTION. i read in a diff forum someone took apart their trunk door and unplugged the blue and grey wire connection. i tried it and now my tail lights work.
