Hi there
I've been using your threads for sometime now to diagnose various issues. This one, however, has me stumped. I am a chick and not very mechanically inclined... although I can follow instructions.
My AC clutch is not engaging. Here are the steps I have taken thus far.
1) I have checked all relays and fuses that I know of.
2) I have tried to jump the low pressure switch (clutch did not engage)
The ac worked fine until the hubby fixed the radiator last winter. It has not worked since. He assures me that he bypassed the ac and he is good a good mechanic. Is there just something simple that I am missing ? Is just the clutch replaceable or will the whole compressor have to be replaced?
thanks in advance

In this case, the compressors are common to both.
WHY did he bypass the A/C when working on the radiator?
Usually, if the clutch is shot, you just replace the compressor as an assembly.
