What's up guys, new to the site so I apologize if This is posted somewhere else, couldn't find answers to my problems. I just bought a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. It has the factory infinity radio. When I turn it on the lights come on, I can eject a CD but no sound. The display lights do not come on either. Replaced the fuse but nothing. Took it to a mechanic and he told me they will replace the fuse but that's all they do with radios. So my question is, is it fried? I like the factory look so I don't have a problem with buying a working factory radio, just want to make sure it's the radio first. Anybody else have this issue? Thanks

 

There is an amp mounted under the rear seat for the Infinity system, but I suspect the head unit is toasted by what you describe. Check eBay for a replacement.
