Hey guys! I’m new to this forum and a young mechanic, I haven’t done much work on jeeps so I’m looking for a little extra help. I have a 1994 Grand Cherokee with the in line 6 I believe. We usually use it for running around the farm but a couple months ago it ran out of gas, and we didn’t need it at the time so it sat for probably 2-3 months. I finally got around to getting some gas for it, put it in and it fired right up and idled for a couple minutes then died. I started it again and it ran for a couple minutes, started sputtering and pushing out a lot of white smoke and then died. It would crank after that and push out a tiny bit of smoke but now it won’t even push any smoke out or fire. It will run if I put gas right down the throttle body and would pour out white smoke but never run right. I changed out the fuel filter and that’s all I’ve done with it, any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
