1994 Cherokee limited v6 wont start
I have a 94 jeep limited, it is very hard to start. If it will start. You have to leave the key in the on position for 5min to an hour, then it might start. On good days you can turn the key to the on position, the check engine light will come on and you will hear the fuel pump pump. Then you can start it. Just replaced spark plugs, wires and rotor. It worked good for two weeks and the same symptoms came back. I would like to fix this myself instead of paying hundreds of dollars. Could it be the starter, starter relay? The colder it is outside the longer it takes?

You need a new computer.
Had the exact same issue with the wifes ZJ, it was worse in colder weather.
I had to wait till the internals of computer warmed up, then the relay would do a series of clicks under the hood, then the fuel pump would prime and allow it to start.

What it will cost depends on where you buy it, new/used, etc. You can do it yourself but make sure it is the same part number. Is it security equipped? Do some searching on these boards but I think there is one setup (flat, gold key?) That if you swap in a different computer without dealer programming it will do permamant damage to the pcm programming.
I had to fool with my security system and I remember reading something like that.

Easy to swap out.. 1/2 hour of work.
I paid $80 for mine on ebay from a large dismantler.. LCQ or something.
I emailed a bud who is a parts manager at a Jeep dealership, he gave me the superceeding numbers that would work on my application. With that info i went and found what i needed on ebay. I ended up with a reman'd unit.

Hey thanks i will try it and let you know. Another thing is, the more i try to crank it, the more the battery drains. If i have been trying for more than 30 mins. I might have to jump it off. Of course now that it is 30 degrees outside in the morning that doesn't work either. Is the starter pulling to much power to start?

Certainly welcome to your opinion... how about some input on what you think it may be, otherwise your post is useless.
The symptoms he described matched the wifes identically.. i did a search and found a few threads on this back then. I went into the purchase feeling pretty confident.. but did opt for a used component as i wasnt absolutely positive and figured i'd save a few bucks if i was wrong. Fortunately for me i got it right.
