new radiator..running too cool
so i put in a two row radiator last night because my jeep was overheating after long drives etc..it deff needed it but now its running at about 150 degrees is this bad any ideas what the issue could be? i also noticed my fan runs all the time, should it? thanks for any help, 97 zj 4.0

Obviously you have a blown or no thermostat. It's job is to keep the engine at it's setpoint, at least 190* or 210*, whichever you're supposed to be using. The PCM needs that temp to set the mixture right.
The fan on my '97 ZJ was viscous clutch drive and DID run all the time.

Thermostats don't have an infinite life expectancy and can fail for any number of reasons, but the most common is an overheat or many cycles of running hot. It's good practice to replace them whenever you do a system flush and replace the coolant. Most makers suggest doing this every 2 years.

Okay, a Cherokee has rear leaf springs and the Grand has coils all around. The Cherokee doesn't have all the luxury things that the Grands do.
