Noob here, searched the forums already for anyone else with this problem, no luck. The problem is that I have no dash lights or consol lights in my 93 GC. I have checked and rechecked all the fuses in the cab, and under the hood. I have replaced the light/dimmer switch, and I have taken apart the whole dash and replaced ALL the bulbs. I do have interior lights, glove box light, and running lights and head lights, just no instrument lights. Is there a hidden inline fuse maybe? I am checking the electrical connections to the stereo, as the last owner installed an aftermarket deck. I believe that an ORANGE wire is responsible for the lack of illumination, but not positive. Since I've owned this GC I haven't had dash lights, so its not like they just stopped working. Please help this frustrated guy losing confidence in his Jeep!

Get ahold of some wiring schematics and see where the ground for the dash is. You may have a bad ground connection.

New to these as well, so I can't point you in the right direction. I've had your exact problem on a Maxima and it turned out to be a corroded ground connection though.
