Default 1/2 electrical problem

Never had this one before.

Update I am also getting a small burning smell from time to time inside. No smoke (as of yet) but it comes and goes. Checked all the fuses and they are all OK. Any idea where the wire burning smell could be coming from?

2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee 196,000 miles I6 engine.

This morning after driving for about 45 minutes stopped to run in a store. Turned the key back on to roll up the windows and nothing electrical happened. All blank. Turned off the key and back on (did not try to start engine) and all the lights on the panel came on and looked normal.

Here's the catch. Only the windows on the drivers side work along with the outside mirror. Door locks only work on drivers side.

Passenger side mirror, windows, door locks AND rear hatch locks don't work. Checked the fuses and no joy.

Any ideas?
