06 Cluster-trans issue?
I'd first of all would like to say thanks for the add and the forthcoming advice.
As stated I have an 06 with 70k on vehicle. The issues:
All four dial gauges dead, A/C dead
Lights work, LCD, Mileage and gear display works, Radio and door locks work.
No warning lights displayed at startup.
When driving back to house at low speed (one block away) a grinding (?) noise would be heard while turning left from a dead stop. It felt like the awd wasn't sensing right and trying to over or under distribute power to the wheels. Felt sort of like ABS breaks when they lock and release but not quite the same?
I would guess it to be a trans issue with the speedo and tach tied to the trans but can't figure out how the AC and other guages play into this.
Any help troubleshooting this would be appreciated. Thanks.
UPDATE:
Everything functions now but check engine light is on. Going to run to dealer tomorrow and have a diagnostic run.
