05 GC v8??
I'm looking to buy a 2005 grand cherokee limited w/a 4.7 v8. I'm trading in my 2004 olds alero because I have 2 huge dogs and my 2dr alero no longer fits us! My husband has a YJ but that's not an everyday driver and definitely not for traveling..
I'm just wondering what you think of your grand cherokee if you have 1/had 1 or what you think on them in general! & how is it for traveling? How good does it tow a trailer? Have you have any tranny probs??

We bought our '04 new and love it. It has the 4.7L V8, Quadra-Trac II full time 4WD t-case, and have over 86,000 miles with no problems with the drivetrain. We have the tow package and have used it towing cars and trailers between Tenn. and Mich. several times. Great for traveling. Great seats. I prefer to use my '97 for towing bigger stuff. The 5.2L has more torque than the 4.7L, but I love them both.

I'm looking to buy ASAP! I think I found a great deal.
Its an 05 GC limited, 62000 miles, sunrf, leather, & tow pkg for $9900 after my trade in thats worth $3000. I think I've found THE ONE!!!! I hope this is a good purchase and not a lemon.
I have heard a lot of bad things and a lot of GREAT things about the 05 GC's when looking up reviews...it looks to me like its a hit or miss deal....
I just really need something that has room, can tow, & is going to be reliable!
