Zombie Apocolypse Build ( First Build )
Alrighty, so Ive decided to post up a thread showing you all my VERY first build. Bought myself my third jeep its a 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport with only 116k miles on it, and now I'm turning it into the Zombie Apocolypse Vehicle.
I'm currently just doing some small simple stuff to it right now while I don't have that much of a cash flow coming in. So he's gonna take a while before he starts looking awesome.
Hope you guys enjoy and follow along with this thread and let me know what you think so far!

So after taking it out off roading a few times ( Yes, I took it off roading completely bone stock ) I flew into trouble...
Broke both of my exhaust straps. ( Hanging exhaust/muffler/etc.)
Exhaust & Catalytic Converter had several cracks and was completely rusted out.
Rear end shocks were no good.
Rear leaf springs were broken.
Steering Box is no good.
Old Breaks.
Several hoses were slashed due to missing fan shroud.
Suspension was completely rusted out.
All 4 fender flares were placed on incorrectly and looks like someone had painted them with a kids paint set.
Power Steering Pump fizzeled out.
4 Hideous sets of rusted Rims ( 2 tires went flat ) & all 4 were dry rotted
2 cylinders are skipping.
Thats all I can think of for now what is/was wrong with it.

Zombie Apocolypse Vehicle
So after all of that went wrong, I went and fixed mostly all of it except for my Steering Box, the 4 Fender flares, The rims, and the skipping cylinders. But other than that he purrs like a cat now.
I added the following
-Brand new Thrush Exhaust & Muffler.
- Rancho Shocks and suspension with a 3.5 Rear lift. ( I could only afford half of a lift for now...) Soon will be leveled out to a full 8" lift all the way around.
So below this is what it looks like with the rear lift on..

I simply washed it with some dish soap; let it dry. Then did 5-6 light coats letting it dry about 3-4 minutes in between and once I was happy with the color that I got I let it dry for about 10-15 mins. Shouldve let it dry for about a half-hour to an hour tho, because I did touch a part where it was sticky, so ill have to go back sand it down and repaint it, I just didnt have the time to do it as the sun was going down! Hope this helps!

Haha yeah; I tore this thing apart. Took it through 4 feet deep puddles. On like extreme trails and all of that good stuff, cause I figured 1. Its a jeep. and 2. Its a 4x4. I can go anywhere. So I actually decided to test its skill.
Also; glad to see that all of you are enjoying this. Im having soo much fun building this! I have no idea what to do next tho. Maybe bedliner the trim, since its so cheap!

Bought myself a can of Black Plasti-Dip. Can anyone guess what I'm doing?
Hopefully weather depending, it will be done tomorrow!
And I shall have photos up!
