Wild Indian build (Slow, slow, no money slow build)
So right off the bat, no disrespect is meant by my build name. I thought since I have the Chief package I would go with a similar name. My mom and dad always told us to stop running around like wild indians so I went with it. Again no disrespect
Rather than keep notes on what I have done, want to do, or will do, I like the idea of doing it this way. This is my first ever attempt at any kind of auto work other than changing oil, and maybe a speaker or two, so dont expect much.
My hopes for this are to make a decent rig, learn some stuff and have a nice rig to hand down to the boys when they start to drive. I have 3 years
Here are the opening stats.
1987 Red Cherokee Chief
4.0, automatic, 255,000 miles. Original owner drove it, gave it to his mom when he was done, she drove it until she was done, then gave to his son. He didnt want it anymore so I took it. $500
broke down on the first night. Had it towed to mechanic, buddy offered to buy it back or pay for the repair. Huh?? what to do, what to do.
He had them replace the radiator, lower hose, starter, water pump, and thermostat. GOOD FRIEND
Since then:
New shocks all around
blacked out wheels
removed almost all badging
removed factory roof rack
fixed squeaking rear seat
cleaned throttle body and sensor
Seafom
built custom storage box for back
reblacked handles, bumpers, mirrors,etc
mounted mag light (not a big deal, always wanted one tho)
blacked out grill, and chrome ring around windshield
blacked out cowling
Now I am removing the factory black stickers around windows, and trying to restore whats left of the paint.
Future:
1. 2-3 inch lift
2. wheels and tires
3. window tint
4. roof rack
5. front bumper
6. fog lights top and bottom
7. Paint scheme
so here she is

Ok, got the oil changed, got the zombie licsense installed. Removed the stripes around the window. Prepped and painted the valve cover and did the Renix mod.
