The tires from Tirerack came in just about 650 and I got owned with rustys shipping prices so that skyrocketed to exactly 900. And I probably had another 200 in just odds and ends to get it all the way I wanted. I really wasn't on a budget but was ticked off that rustys shipping is twice as much as everyone else. Rubicon Express is an hour from me, would have went with them if they were still open.

Took the jeep out of the snow for some fun testing. Took my buddy with me who is now convinced he needs some mods to keep up. Found some issues that need addressing, this little guy runs hot while going slow. As soon as the electric fan kicks on temp goes back down... maybe a new fan clutch will solve the problem. Haven't really gone playing under the hood yet. Of course I took pictures.

OK I just saw more wheeling than I have done in the last 6 months. Tell your friend the first up grade he needs is a Cherokee

No way... Those old 4-runners are the ****, I'm convincing him to swap in a solid axle and see what that thing can do.

I went out jeeping some more this weekend... Hopefully my bumper and stuff get here soon I need front recovery points

Rustys 4.5 inch kit... I never measured to see what I actually got or what it settled to, but I'm pleased with it's performance so far.

Took a short trip to Summit Lake to hopefully play around a bit... ended up turning around not even a mile into the 2.5 mile trip. This stupid snow needs to melt off.

Haha screw a roof rack, my paddle board might be a permanent addition to this grocery getter roof.

That is the longest snowboard Have ever seen. Is that for going straight down the hill with no turns.

GPS baby gets you there everytime! No getting lost. I take mine everywhere.

When is the bumper coming?

Ordered the bumper exactly a month ago and was told a 3-4 week wait... so maybe soon, I'll be patient for maybe the next 3-4 days.

I got turned around by snow; uphill climb + snow = time to turn around. I made it over that snow drift in the picture and a few others before it was apparent that resistance was futile.

Going on the 3rd month of waiting... I'm having a forum vendor do the work and he just does bumpers on the side. I sorta have to be patient. I've been waiting so long at this point that it's going be a Christmas present.

Good news is my bank account has fully recovered so what do I buy next? Long arms, sye, winch, beefy steering, new rear axle?

Good looking build so far! I am looking at trimming my fenders soon so I can bump up tire size. Look forward to seeing how your bumper turns out.

So I still don't have my bumper... but I have spent some money on a new HD fan clutch (NAPA part number 272310) it was much bigger than the one I replaced it with, it sounds like my fan is always hooking up. Fixed my cooling issue.

I've mostly been just driving the jeep, here's some junky cell phone pictures.

the oil problem, it might be your rear main seal, mines busted and there's oil everywhere aswell, just keep an eye on the oil level about every few days.
