Sub'd to your thread. I'd love to have an MJ one day. I'd build it out with full-widths and an exo... ditch the bed for a tube setup. Gotta get this thing to where I need it before I can even think about it though.

Are you in Four Play 4x4 or Cherokee Jeep KREW on facebook?

in the next month or so I'm going to be looking for my front axle transmission and transfer case.
right now I got a 2 inch spacer kit I'm probably going to put the either 3 or 4 and a half above that. probably going to end up going with 32s or 33s

Can't say I blame you too much. Lot of drama on facebook. I try to stay away from that as much as possible.

That's cool.... just stay away from block spacers for the leafs whatever you do. You'd be better off with extended shackles over blocks but the best thing to do if you're wanting inexpensive lift for the leafs is to get a set of s10 or dakota leafs, cut the eyes off, use the xj main leaf and put that under your jeep. Nets between 2 and 4" of lift depending on the combination of leafs you use.

Look up "bastard pack" or "bastard lift" on here for more info on that.

As much as I would agree with you about building a full buggy out of an mj...
I wouldn't because how RARE these trucks are...
I've got one and I got a cherokee just to trail rig/ dd but I beat the cherokee because it's dime a dozen....
Sorry but I have a huge heart about Mjs lol....

Yeah, I get where you're coming from there. I guess if I came across an MJ in good condition, I'd restore it to former glory or do a nice resto-mod and DD it... but if it was a junker with the bed all mangled up, well... it's tube time, baby!

Freebies on the way:

-Working AW4 4wd tranny
-Tuff Country 3.5" lift with shocks and Trac bar bracket relocation bracket
-Adjustable LCAs for 4-5" lift... hopefully they'll be alright for 3.5"

Donors tell me they're all ready to be picked up, just waiting on the free time to go do it.

Going to Zephyrhills today to pick up the lift. AND (if the seller gets back to me) a set of 31" tires in Kissimmee.

Fingers crossed.... either way - gonna be a great day

Lightbulb Finally starting to show signs of an actual "BUILD"

So today, I replaced the driver's side wheel bearings:

Good ol' Florida watery trails do a number on 'em.

All done! No more Camber kit lol... and I removed the dust shield while I had everything apart - nothing but a mud trap anyway.

Then, I made her more capable...

31" BFG KMs on TJ Canyons. 'Bout 60 or 70% tread on 3... one of them is a brand new Wild Country MTX. $350 out the door.

I like them alot, but I need to get them mounted on my d-windows. I miss my tight turning radius lol

Also picked up what looks like the equivalent of the skyjacker 3" value flex kit minus the discos (don't need them anyway - have my own). It might actually be that kit, but I can't tell, all the markings are gone. Either way... jeep's gonna see a higher elevation soon.

I post some pics up of the kit in a couple days. Ran out of daylight today that's why the pic of the jeep was taken in the walmart parking lot

Love the progress you've made. My XJ will be 90-95% finished by end of April or May; definitely ready to wheel again!!!!!!

Damn. We go up there about every 6 months. Y'all better go ride and have fun now before the state takes full control and it will be regulated like every WMA.

I hear ya man. Did you hear Muddy Hammock is closing? The people that run it aren't renewing their lease.

Thanks man. Hopefully it will start to accelerate a little. Sure has been a slow crawl.

In other news... brown santa paid a visit

front and rear YJ lines and a gatorback belt

now if only there was time to put it in.

Also got these in the mail:

Apparently I was the 317th person to hit "like" on Shop317's facebook page. Didn't even know what was going on. Someone sent me a page recommendation so I checked it out and hit like. Next day, I got a private message from the owner or whoever is in charge of the page asking me what my t shirt size is lol
