It will be more sheet metal, that will tie into the other section in front of it.
And the front section will be sheet metal on the inside of the cab that will bend over the top and give me the lip for the bulb seal to mount on.
And I have an idea for the lower section that includes the commanche tailgate I have....

Interesting build. You have MUCH more patience with the sheet metal work than me. I did floor pans in my Camaro, hated every minute of it. I've done just a little bit of sheet metal on the jeep and can't say I loved it. Looking good, look forward to seeing this finished up.

Sheet metal is not my favorite thats for sure. It is a huge PITA to work with.
I really hope to have all the body work, armor, etc.,etc finished sooner than later.

This will not be much of an update
I really wanted to get the back of the cab all finished up this weekend to move on to the cut and fold rear quarters, and start on the rear bumper.
However I woke up this morning with some sorta bug, Im super dizzy, spinning, hot cold spells, and my skin is irritable as all hell.
I almost never get sick, so when I do I am like a little whinny baby.....Not looking forward to this.
Anyway, I got the sections all cut out, and folded to finish off the front of the bed. And I got them tacked in place but that is all..
Have a great weekend peeps, and FLY EAGLES FLY! Time to put an end to a dynasty.

Feels like forever since I had an update. And it has been. Stupid getting sick, and then a 1500 mi. service call the next weekend ugh.
Any way, at least we are WORLD CHAMPS NOW!!! Fly Eagles Fly.
I finished getting the back side of the rear wall all welded up.

And I was also able to get the inside panels fit, formed, and trimmed. The flap that hangs over is for the bulb seal for the hatch door.
You can see that the center section is going to be removable for access to the latch assembly.
I am stoked to be getting real close to haveing the cab stuff all finished up.

So I decided I wanted a slight break from the fab stuff.
So I did the Gauge cluster swap, with the oil pressure sender, and the temp sender.
I also installed some green LED lights for the back lighting while I was at it.
The new cluster is over what the original has on mileage, so I am not going to mess with the matching of ODO stuff. I will not sell it anyway. It will die in the family.

I did not get a lot done on my rig this weekend, (waiting for primer and rubberized coating to dry sucks......)
But I got my bulb seal lips all finished, and that makes the rear wall and hatch assembly mostly finished minus a couple minor details. Stoked about that for sure, now I get to start the body mods.

However my son and I knocked out this kick *** stove/grill. (his high school welding project I helped him with) we will add a warmer plate to the top for pot cooking, and we still need to get the grille worked out but the rest turned out good.
