Not so dumb anymore.... Re investigated. damage is not nearly as bad as i was first led to believe, the unibody frame rails are intact, most of the damage that concerned me has been eliminated just through cutting and trimming, in fact 90% of the damage im concerned with will be completely removed or remedied once i finish all my cutting/folding. and after a full inspection i found out i have a fairly nice rig actually.
things that need attention
-need to get 31's mounted.
-stock steering (V8 ZJ steering, and a V8 durango box
-OE steering stablizer is shot
-shocks need replaced
-brake fluid needs flushed and bled
-needs new front rotors and pads, along with back brakes
-coolant needs flushed and bled
-oil pan gasket, valve cover gasket, oil filter adapter gasket,
-oil change
-trans filter/fluid change
-front and rear diff gear oil
-cap rotor and wires
-Big 3 ground a power upgrade
once all that is done i should have a good reliable DD that is ready to be built.
also hoping to get a call tomorrow with when i can start my new job, then hopefully i can start getting things done on the jeep.

Took the jeep up to the woods for the first time ever, played on some gravel piles and in some mud, nothing to crazy since i still have thouse bald tires on, while up there she lost her oil pressure and started ticking violently, i pulled off to the side of the gravel read and killed it, then i got out and checked the oil, none, let it sit for about a minute then started her up, she purred, still no oil pressure, but she was running like a champ continued on another 7 miles into the woods, she never got hot, she never got oil pressure, but she never quite she later drove us 17 miles back out of the woods and then 15 miles back home and never fussed or hiccuped the entire way. i love 4.0's. Although i have moved a possible rebuild a little higher on my to-do list than it was before.

so. i love 4.0's
no other motor on this plannet would still be running after the abuse mine has gone through, im around 300k blown headgasket, multiple spun bearings, amounts of coolent and oil in my pan. still running stronger then half the toyotas in my area and ive been driving it, reliably. on the daily. and id still confidently drive her across the country.
