Decidedto do a build thread. worked hard for a lil while now im back with updates instead of just talk...The jeep got the nick name roke because thats all that was left of cherokee on one fender so i made the other match....lol lots of text just scroll through to pics...

got it in a trade i didnt take stock pics...i put a rc 4.5 lift on had issues with back foward leaf mount. weld nut broke. had to weld in new nut....no pics there...sorry but there are lots of installs and plans for this guy....it needs to be ready by end of aprils so here goes....it was gold now good ole flat balck

HEre is the list of stuff ive done so far....87 xj runs good no leaks at all. new trans cooler, filter. has new wires,cap rotary button, crank sensor, plugs, air filter, optima battery(brandnew), Brand new alternator week old., crank sensor, fresh oilchange with royal purple, fresh fluids in t case, diffs and trans. mods include....
all of these parts are new and less than month old i just got all of them and installed within a month or two
allnew brakes as well i have new stainless steel braided extended brake lines but they are on back order with my front dana 30 boxed truss.

brand new red top optima, new batt cables,
bedliner sprayed in rear hatch floor, new undercoating in wheel wells and most underneath no rust at all.
kc highlights mounted on cowl panel.
hd ujoints on rear drivelines,
this thing has manymore small parts added, ..this jeep needs a set of 33s and its ready rock..

Im in process of addingpsc hydro steering assist, for now im upgrading the powersteering pump and reservior to psc setup.
also still debating on re gear and 36 irocks that i already have or buying 33s for now....ughh im not sure im gonna have a job after april so ive got to keep an eye on my money and save it. heres some current pics of the jeep as it sits right now...update.....







bought solid axle hd dana 30 diff skid im building a boxed truss soon.


did the basic tune up stuff.
put new exhaust on, flows with high flo cat.


i put some lights up top but now im moving them to hood...i wired them to factory fog lights. i like them here.


built custom front bumper, built winch mount, installed new smittybuilt xrc 8k winch finished roller fairlead munt and boxed it in. also added some gussets. I can put winch hook on top bar and pull in the bar does not move.(of course im not holding the button for ten mins...it would bend) lol..its pretty sturdy








installed new batt cables and new optima red top.

installed a pillar gauge pod havent got around to installing gauges yet (oil press. and temp) my current oil pressure gage shows 80 not running ,running, high and low rpms, just not reading.

in process of collecting materials for my full cage, im cheap so i get my tubing from a friend DOug saunders races superlatemodel dirt cars number 42 (just in case yall know him.)

ordered rear dana 44 truss from iron rock offroad. should have it in a few days ill post pics of install.

going to install hood vents next week.



I cut rear carpet out...and did the bed liner....ill be making my storage racks and toolbox mouts soon

 

I am gettin my tsl 's wednesday ill mount em friday, pics of them asap, recent photos of roof rack (surco brand new) paid 50 for it.... hood vents, ballistic fab rear 44 cover (in process of building) under carriage light and iron rock off road rear 44 full truss....and my bestfriend(the welder) it is best investment ive ever made....my new diff cover below wieghs 13 pounds...lol 3/16 steel, rocks have no chance, im going to weld it tommorow when i get home...
