i ended up passing on the used wheel/tire setup, wife said I should get new stuff i really want (have i mentioned i love my wife?) so when i get down time in the desert i have been reading up on tires. i still like the treadwright m/t at 85 per, but have been thinking about the interco trxus sts. now before i get shot, most of my driving is on-road, dirt trails, gravel, and the occasional lite mud. concerns include mileage and wear. this is my dd for when i get back home, any thoughts, reviews, pictures? if i end up with the treadwrights they will be 31x10.5, and the sts would be 31x11.5, either way mounted up on some black rock steels. thanks!

Hey CF!

I just got back to Iraq from my mid-tour leave, and had some time to wrench on my rig.

A few members had some parts I was looking for, and we completed the transaction before I got home, and they were all waiting for me!

So I did oil and a radiator flush, front brakes (had to get new calipers too. meh)

cleaned up the interior, put in a cheapy Dual CD player (PO had pulled his)

While underneath, I was pleasantly suprised to find a non-diso front axle. also, when tooling around in 4wd, I get the axle pop that seems very locker-ish, but I didnt have time to pull the cover and find out what was lurking.

bottom line is, the jeep is running great, pulling hard, and 4hi and 4lo work perfectly. I took a couple poser pics, will add them in a bit.
