So this is my first Jeep/XJ, though not new to the world of Mopar. I bought the XJ for 2k from the original owner, who took pretty good care of it. I needed it for a family vehicle, because I my son was born in January. I have had it since november and have done nothing with it but drive it and maintain it. So after spending probably 12 hours looking at build threads and tech threads I have caught the bug. Let me start off by saying I currently work as a Transmission R&R technician at a local shop and have never learned to paint or weld so this shall be a great learning experience for me. Now on to the details of the Jeep.

I would like to do the 4WD conversion with a 3" lift and some decent tires and kinda follow in the Expedition rig theme but still retain it as my DD, but as of right now I am going to start with small cosmetic things to make it look better.
