Ok so thats how where is starts, itll be a really fun project and will get to painting and doing the small work tomorrow. wish me luck and subscribe for updates. Looking for ideas and motivation besides beer. Thanks xj buddies

yeh i have done a bit of painting already and i can tell that shes going to end up looking like a panda. I painted the grill and headlight bezzel's today and will try to get the mirrors and roof rack painted as well.. heres some new pics

Next im going to remove the fender flares and the side trim, I have taken my emblems off and will be painting the red and black.

If anyone is reading this I plan on doing the cut and fold on both my front and rear fenders but the rear has the pinch seam and it seems it may be a bit more difficult.. any ideas?

just dont cut past the pinch seam... or weld the pinch seam back up.

Ok so today i have done a bit of painting and had taken off the fender flares... I just ordered a wench bumper from BCC, the guys there would definetly fulfill the heavy duty aspect of my jeep. Its made from 1/4" steel with extended mounts. Dudes were really easy to deal with and got it for an awesome price. Ill get around to putting it on when more time allows but for now heres a pic with the flares taken off..
