had these sitting for a while, and finally got the guts to slice my hood today.
got them prepped and painted.
so many great writeups, w measurements and everything, that it was actually fairly easy.
after the cuts were done. 5" from rear of the hood, 1" from center.
these pics were after i had pulled most of the tape off. i also put a large piece of cardboard under the hood, and a moving blaket over my windshield.
i noticed about a 10 degree drop.

thanks! took me about 6 cans of white to find the closest white. Krylon fusion dover white, at walmart $4.

added a couple of minor mods, this wknd..
made some mounts for my jks discos.. mounted to front skid plate. tired of bungees/zipties.
31" tire in stock spare location.
hi-lift under bench seat

thanks! found it on a forum. just need to pound the hump down a little, and the seat even latches to keep the hi lift tight, and the weight is pretty center. you need to remove the base, but comes off w/a cotter pin and fits easily under seat as well.

That is an awesome looking jeep. Like how you kept it looking stock. I have a 1998 Cherokee Limited that I am going to modify down the road - might borrow a few of your ideas. Cheers.
