So I decided to take off my rack to see if it would do anything for fuel economy and I actually like it better. I'll probably end up converting it into a trailer cuz so far no one is offering me what I want.

Haven't done any riding since that last trip out. We planning one here in the near future. I did clean the inside, with the help of a persistent friend. I guess he got tired of riding in a dirty Jeep. Lol

So I decided to do away with the mechanical fan. Gonna replace it with another XJ electric fan. I've done my research and people haven't complained about the set up. Ordered a Hayden 3651 off of Amazon for $30. They sell at O'Reilly for $60... It's the screw in sensor version so I drilled and tapped the thermostat housing for 1/8 NPT and got that installed. All I have left is to finish the wiring and pick up another fan from the junkyard. I'll keep the updates coming.

Even with just one fan right now it works like a charm! Took it around the block and let it idle in my driveway. Never got above 210*! The fan is set to kick on at about 195*. Hopefully gonna grab another fan Saturday from pick-n-pull. Here's some pics.

The fan set up looks great!! Glad to hear it is working well. I had a quick question about your Kumhos. I've been looking at these for quite awhile for my JK in a 35 but wanted to get some more user reviews on them first. How do you like them for your rig and would you recommend them? How are they on the pavement, rain, mud, sand, rocks? Thanks.

Thanks! And dude I LOVE my tires! Great road manors and great traction in all weather conditions. Offroad, I've never gotten stuck. I've done minor rocks, mud, and mostly dirt trails. I only air down to about 20 psi and have never lost a bead. You can also hear the nubs grabbing on the rock edges while crawling over. Oh I forgot to mention that my axles are all stock 3.55 gears and no lockers. Again, it takes negotiating but I've never had to use the winch to pull myself out.
