Default Slow-Mo Expo Build

Hey everyone! So I've been here for a little while now mostly just lurking and such; so I decided that I should finally start a build thread. But when I started I had an '88 Cherokee Laredo (it was a hunk of junk!) I ended up selling that and after about a year of dreaming and oogling every Jeep that drove by, I picked up a '97 Cherokee Sport.

As of now, there hasn't been a whole lot done to it and it will be a slow build, but I want to make it into an awesome expedition rig because I love exploring and camping. Here's how it sits now:

Right now it sits on a budget boost of 2" and 30" tires, but the plan is to get a 3.5" Lift on 31's. Other future plans involve front and rear bumpers, a winch, a safari rack, Durango steering box, upgraded injectors, headlight harness, battery cables and anything else I think of as I go.

That's it for now, I'll keep posting as I go!

As the name suggests, it's been slow... Haha.
I was gunna go get me some EMT this weekend and build a roof rack, but my A/C Compressor exploded and my steering gear box is on it's last leg so the money is funneled elsewhere. But such is Jeep life. Or as the French would say La Vie En Jeep. Anyways, hopefully I get do some more soon but we'll see what happens.

So this weekend was spent on finding a steering box at the JY and installing it in my rig. It was smooth sailing for the most part! I'm happy to have tighter steering and a correctly aligned front end! (The shop wouldn't do an alignment before hand because they said it was too loose.)
I've gotta say though, I can't wait until autumn and cooler weather because I'm tired of the sweat baths while working outside.
