Default Rybob's Blue Beater

Hi all,

My name is Ryan and i'm a full time college student/ part time Home Depot associate here in Flagstaff, Arizona, as well as an Air Force Reservist for the 305th Pararescue Squadron (No, I'm not a PJ, I am a Radio Tech )

I picked up a 90 XJ with a GM 10 bolt rear axle, Rubicon Express 6.5" Lift, Roof Rack, Front Armor, Lights, and 33" M/T tires.

The reason for this thread is I need a place to document what i do to the truck.

I'm slowly trying to get it back to reliable running condition as right now she leaks a little (a lot haha) and likes to make strange clunking noises while turning, as well as a few other little things.

But hey, for a little over $3,000 i didn't expect perfect!

This week my goal is to get it registered and track down the leak (believe its the valve cover gasket, but we will see)

Will post pics up and ask questions as i go.

Yes I am helping my friend who has a 90 install a Ford 9" rear and a D44 front so I am hoping to learn enough doing that to be able to do the same to mine. Won't be for a while however as funds are limited at this point
