Driving home from work on the freeway and I hear this clunking noise from the passenger side. I let off the gas, speed back up and hear it again. Thinking I ran something over I take the next exit and inspect the underside. Not noticing anything I continue home.
I hear it a few more times on the surface streets so I quickly pull into the driveway. I inspect the entire Jeep underneath and front to back, only to see this

That's a new header panel as of 2 years ago haha. Stupid piece broke where the lights mount to. Oh well. Some clear tape will hold it til I decide what to do.

I accepted the management position in St George, UT and will be leaving Las Vegas by the end of April. I originally set aside money for tires, skid plates and some armor... but all that go pushed to the back burner until after the move. Plus, Utah has more Jeep fabrication shops!
So, the tires I had in mind were either Goodyear MTRs, Mickey Thompson MTZ, Hankook Dynapro MTs or any other tire that is recommended... size is 33x12.5 on 15x8 steelies.

Finally got around to doing the tune up. Accel cap and rotor, plugs and new 8mm wires. Compared to what I put on 40k miles ago, this stuff is way better.

I haven't updated this in a long time. I moved to St George, UT in April. Drove the 130 miles in the Jeep, parked her in the garage and she sat there for weeks. I've only driven her maybe 5 times since I moved here.
Haven't really done much since February.
Went to Logandale in March with some rock buggies

Thanks! She's been sitting in the garage a lot lately. If you have any questions about it feel free to ask.
I've done a few more upgrades and changed some things around. I'll post more updates once I get all the pictures organized.

Mud flaps! Required for state inspection.
One of the perks of living in Nevada is the vehicle laws. No mud flaps required in Nevada... Utah on the other hand

Seems I have lost some picture links... oh well. Figured I would keep updating this since I have done so much small stuff since the last post.
Back in mid August, driving around the west end of Las Vegas. So much has changed...
Top of the roof rack.
Went to Lowe's to look for expanded metal. I was planning to make a floor for the roof rack so I can carry smaller items. Came across this sitting in the back corner of the store near the dumpster. The store manager gave it to me for free.
Knocked the rails off and cut it to size.
Fits pretty good. One of these days I'll paint it.

Decided to take the family on a weekend trip.
Testing out the makeshift awning at Sand Hollow.
The September rains brought a lot of mud to Toquerville Falls.

Lake Mead weekend getaway.
The background is boyscouts setting up their tents and EZ ups. Their scout leader came over the check out my cheap awning. Unfortunately a gust of wind destroyed the tarp right after this picture was taken.

ZJ fan clutch upgrade and new fan shroud from Evans Fischer on Amazon.
A/C lines to the evaporator
New receiver dryer
New compressor.
Not having A/C for a while, I forgot how much room it takes up.
