Well, the entire lift is installed...we had zero problems with any bolts breaking. BUT, at the very end the rear brake line cracked. We will get at it tomorrow morning and finish torquing down the rear bolts, throw on the tires and hope for zero vibrations!

After replacing the section of brake line, the line cracker further up. We went to the parts store only to find they did not have the correct fittings and flaired lines to do the job. I had the jeep towed to a friend's house so we can fix it and do a full replacement after Frankenstorm blows over. Here's some pics of the lift installation though.

The next things for the Jeep that I need/want to get done:
-install brake line
-see if any drive vibration...if so, get SYE and drive shaft
-install tires
-bed line around where the fenders were and attach the wheel well coverings
-change out fluids...oil and diff oil. Front diff seal as well
-look into an aftermarket tie rod and extended brake lines for the front
I think that will do for now.

Nice jeep!
I can't wait to get my 3.5" RE lift.... Im running 31x10.5R15 on stock height right now HAHA. I trimmed my front and rear and I get no rubbing on the roads and ALMOST none off road LOL
Let me know how your vibrations are, I'm hoping with my '94 I won't have to do an SYE, but I probably should anyway... At least a hack-n-tap.

The brake line was fixed last night and the tires were installed today! We managed to find the pre-bent brake line at the Jeep dealership for only $50. Here's the an updated pic.

Looking good! Hows your shackle angle look with those springs? Just curious because I'm considering the same lift.

Yesterday when I was driving home from the climbing gym, my check gauges light came on and my battery voltage gauge was pegged on 19v. I made it home and as soon as I turned the jeep off, the battery drained. I checked all of the grounds and everything seemed fine so I picked up a new alternator and installed it. The most difficult part was puzzling the old alternator out and puzzling the new one in. Not much space to work with. All runs fine now.
Since I was already under the Jeep, I took the opportunity to tighten down the bolts from the lift installation to make sure everything was still tight. The steering stablizer bolt on the axle side was completely loose. I could move it with my fingers. I got a few turns out of the drag link adjuster and one bolt on the tie rod. The steering felt so much better after the tightening.
A fellow jeep member loaned me a transfer case drop to alleviate the vibrations until I decide/buy a SYE and driveshaft. That will be installed probably this weekend.

Awesome build, I got same year and color xj and have also been planning on getting the RE3.5 super-ride with leaf springs. Hope to see more on your build soon!

any updates on the t-case drop? I have the same lift and shocks about to go on as soon as possible with the track bar as well...i have to wait for taxes if I'm going to do a sye/driveshaft. What size drop did you go with? Did it take the vibes away?

No real big updates the past few months. I did have to replace the TPS and air filter after going through some water while wheeling with some other cherokees. I haven't done the TCase drop. I can't get the studs out of the body. I do still have vibrations and am hoping to get an SYE and driveshaft by this summer. I am hoping that I can change the diff fluid and replace the leaky pinion seal in the front axle tomorrow.
