What was that candy red car in one of those pics? I don't recognize the bodystyle. Looks almost ferrari-ish...also, in the same pic, is that an Olds?

So plans have changed a little. Seeing as i have a lot of parts to buy for my rims frame plating and such i decided to buy some 35s and wheel it this year as is and mass some more parts and do the axle swap this fall. Not giving up on what i have planned it wad either look at the jeep all summer or wheel it, i chose to wheel it. So i mounted my km2s and installed a new rear window today and drove her around.

Don't mind the ugly rims in gonna get some cheap steelys to replace these ones.

My buddy swapping an 8.8 into his wrangler while i was working on my jeep.

Worked on the Jeep for a little today. I put new rims on it that i bought yesterday for 100$. Painted them up and got em on. Then i took a set of xj doors i had left over from my old xj and started making some new half doors. And yesterday a customer brought my his polaris SlingShot by to have us look at it were gonna be doing some paint work on it. Thing looks mean, never seen anything like it.

i haven't updated in a while so might as well now. I got some parts ordered such as frame stiffeners from T&M Fab and i bought a light bar (non essential but will be nice to night wheel)

The biggest thing i got done lately jeep wise has been this
Got my jd2 model 32 all set up and ready to go. Got it set up so i can run it horizontally or vertically by turning the engine stand.

I had to use it so i took and piece of scrap and made a stinger. Turned out pretty good.

Heres some other things I've been working on in the shop as well

66 Chevy 2

1934 Ford coupe made some sweet polished aluminum ac vents

64 Caddy Needs power steering work

Gears and locker on my buddy tj

old school gasser. Did a fuel cell mount for this

Customer wanted a foldable nitrous mount. so thats what i made for him. Turned out pretty sweet

And made it out to uwharrrie for some fun. This thing needs paint bad.

This is my cage idea for the back of the mj. Id really like some feedback on this one. Not really sure what direction i want to go with it. Any guidance / feedback is greatly appreciated.

Thats it for now. ill be getting my frame parts on tuesday. I may put them on next weekend pending a wheeling trip. and hopefully my light bar will show up so too.

Looks really cool. I'd at bracing between the paralle tubes. I'm not an engineer so I can't say for structure though, i'm sure someone with more knowledge in that field will share their thoughts.

Got my frame stiffeners in today. Overall happy with the fitment. Just not looking forward to stripping the beadliner off the rails. Anyone know the best way to go about it?

I just used a grinder. You can't really make it any easier aha. It just sucks grinding that **** off. It's some good undercoating.

Uwharrie? I would go down there but my Jeep is currently floorless. I'm patching up some rust.

If i don't start on my stiffeners I'm down to go. Hopefully the undercoating will come off easy. My brother in law word at a jeep shop in mass and he said a torch and a wire wheel works really good and its fast.
