The painting continues. Got everything cleaned off. Primer is on. only 1.5 coats before I can out of primer. Will pick up some more for a second coat. Need to order new axle seals and figure out which diff cover I want as well. While a solid diff cover is only $65, them Chassis Unlimited covers are DOPE.

C8.25 is done with paint!
My buddy Jeepology recommended this spray paint and I love how it looks! Laid 3 coats down.
Don't mind the unfinished diff cover. Im going to be buying a new one, just need to figure out which one. If you follow the "What did you do to your Cherokee today" thread you've seen the spread sheet I put together

Ruff Stuff's diff cover is probably the best on the market, bar none.
Get that, or if you are on a tight budget just go with a Solid. I have also seen people do horrible things to the Poison Spyder cover, that thing can take a beating as well, but for the money I would just go Ruff Stuff.

Im really liking it!
Not sure if i can justify spending money on diff covers when for just a little more I can get a cav fab stubby bumper

Removed the knuckles, axle shafts, axle nuts, and ball joints. Starting to clean up this axle: removing rust, paint, grime. Got some junk into the axle tubes so ill have to be more careful and flush with brake cleaner. Planning on changeing diff fluid quickly after the first fill to clean out totally.
Got one knuckle in the electrolysis tub. Will remove and scrub tomorrow and decide if the other one is going in or not

Looking great so far. Good call on the peal n seal. If you have to take your headliner out I highly recommend doing the roof as well. I did mine wheni redid the headliner definitely worth it. A lot quieter and helps with the heat as well

and Ive actually already had my headliner replaced so its not sagging or anything so no reason for me to take it out. TBH I dont have AC so the windows are always open so its tough to tell whats quiet or deadened or not lol
