Thanks for the compliments!
I love the Logan's bumper - it should ground out fairly well, or I'll run the ground separate.
I thought about a hood mount (like the tail light mount, but comes up through the crack between the hood and the fender) if the bumper mount doesn't go well.
Got the new headliner installed today. Pics in the next day or two. It got dark before I got all the trim back in so I have to take the finished photos tomorrow. I went from the saggy light silver/gray to black.

we had our antenna on the side and ripped it off 3 runs in a row. Moved it to the front bumper and haven't had any issues other than the antenna being so heavy it would eventually wiggle itself loose. Gonna try magnet mount next.

My mag mount doesn't work too well as far as signal when transmitting. Plus it's tearing the paint up. I used to have a fiberglass one mounted to the roof rack, but that brought the suck too.
Going with a hard mount as a last resort to get the CB working well.

dont do a magnet mount. i had one and absolutely hated it.... if you hit bumps hard it would come off, any low branch or anything will make it tip over, and it almost shattered my rear window a few times. not to mention they get horrible reception.... whips for the win

I was talking about the ZJ. After breaking off 2 or 3 from the side, we stuck the backup (magnet mount) antenna from the tow rig on the bumper. That was a whip and it didn't work as well, but it got us thru the weekend, plus if it got knocked over we just had to stand it back up, LOL.
BJ wants a magnet mount K40 but I think it'll be too heavy to stand up. We shall see...

Finally got the saggy headliner replaced. It was usualy sitting on my head when I was in the Jeep, was annoying, and looked like crap.
The Original headliner - only things holding it up were the speakers, the lights, and the visors

What the clips are SUPPOSED to do-

What too many of them actually did-

Headliner fabris removed, now got to brush off the foam backing. The guy in the photo is an auto interior pro and a friend of my neighbor's. Did mine in my driveway - pretty cool guy.

Backer board cleaned and ready for first layer of contact cement-

Interior without headliner - looks good, no evidence of leaks or rust-

New headliner glued down-

New headliner installed, all trim back in place-

Windshield banner went on today-

The motor mounts are pulled hard to the rear.
Here are photos of the motor mounts:
Passenger Side:

Driver Side:

Looking at replacement mounts from brown dog:
http://browndogindustries.com/cherok...-2000-40l.aspx
And need a new transmission mount, probably from Rock Auto.
The fan blades chewed through the AC line, so no AC, no Defroster either.
Picked up a replacement AC line from Jeep but can't install it yet until I get the engine sitting correctly.

Hey man, I posted pictures previously before on the antenna mount. Well, I just got installed this past weekend so heres a pic of what it would look like.

I could refer you over to the guy who made it for me. $20 shipped is what he ended up charging me.

seeing a guy that runs a CB shop this week, but please PM me the info anyway. Looking at mounting a 5 foot firestick on the front bumper but haven't ruled out a rear mount for ham or a CB if the front bumper idea doesn't pan out.
