Also just wired my e-fan to an on/off switch. It wasn't working before, so I didn't care about retaining computer control functionality. I'm about to replace my radiator and water pump, and convert to an open cooling system, so I figured it was finally time to get around to doing this.

Replaced my water pump last week. Twice. Thanks, 96xjclassic. We also got some butt splices soldered, so my CB and bed lights work again. Added spade connectors to the e-fan for quick removal, and I got my 42" cast Hi-Lift today from Amazon. Went with 42" cause i can lay it inside behind the bench. I had to change a flat at 2am the other day, 25° outside, laying on blacktop with a borrowed bottle jack. Not doing that again!

Bought it on Amazon for the free two day shipping, and the wide base and the handle isolator will be here tomorrow. Altogether, $125 to my door.

Went to Green2000's shop tonight to do the open cooling system swap. Got it all torn out, got to a brass fitting that we couldn't remove from the old rad and couldn't find a substitute for. No shops open at 11pm that would have what we needed. Buttoned it back up. 7 hours and nothing to show for it. Gonna make sure we have what we need to tackle it again Saturday. To top it off, I got pulled over on the way home cause I forgot to reconnect one of the headlights. Luckily, I just got a warning. Now I'm looking forward to sleep.

Edit:
In my frustration from the radiator, I forgot to mention I met up with yellaklein and got a non-disconnect high pinion D30 to put in. Would've been easier to handle without the LCAs and steering attached, but he gave me a great deal

I now have an open cooling system! Shhh, don't tell 5-90

Heaps of thanks and praise and hoopla for Green2000 who helped with the install and gave me a warm shop to use. Here's the end result:
