Yeah, I drove around with a bubble like that in my tire for nearly a year. I was so glad to get new tires.

I don't know why it took me so long to subscribe but, now I am bud.
That engine skid took a beating that day. And we can account the bent crossmember to our horrible guide that almost put us in the buggy track as bait. Get that gas tank skid on cause your pucker factor was thru the roof over that 1/2 football field long rock garden!
If you ever need help with interior sprucing up let me know, you saw my rig. I don't mind that stuff.

This one didn't upload.

And I just ordered one of these to replace my ashtray:

Driving back from PA on Sunday, my temp light came on in the mountains. We pulled over, popped the hood, and sat for a few minutes. I didn't have any trouble for the rest of the drive (or since). Because my cooling system seems to be working with the new freeze plugs and the flush, I've decided not to spend $300 on Dirtbound's 3-fan kit. I'll still be replacing the radiator, water pump, thermostat and housing, hoses, and converting to an open system. This is my upcoming project.

The electric fan system is just more efficient from a cooling aspect and fuel aspect. I was amazed at how much difference there was with throttle response when I took the mechanical fan off my truck. I plan to do the three fan setup on the XJ when I install my external trans cooler.
Did I mention you ****in rock? thanks for posting them up while I was at work

Temp. Already bought it; just waiting for a place to put it. I don't worry about the others, but factory temp gauges (even if I had one) are notoriously unreliable. I don't want overheating to ever be an issue again, so the temp gauge, open system conversion, and new radiator are my upcoming project.

Well, I got my Dirtbound Offroad switch panel in the mail today. Unfortunately, I'm having a hard time finding my bedlighting kit. I'm about to go to work for the night, but I might try to get it installed while I'm there.
In other news, I found a guy back in Cleveland selling a 700r4 transmission for the Camaro. Also gave my dad money for a set of Firestone Firehawk Wide Oval Indy 500s. Car might be back on the road in a week.
Once it's ready and they do some shakedown driving, I'll be flying home to pick it up.
