I also got the front windows tinted. Never knew how much of a difference it would make. I mostly just got them so they'd match the back windows but I think now any vehicle I own will get tinted. It's 15-20 degrees cooler than it was before.
Thanks. I told them to match factory, which I think is 24%. From the outside they look identical, but from the inside the fronts are only slightly darker, so I'd guess 20%.
Thanks! She actually needs a bath in that pic, but the paint's immaculate for being from 2000.

I didn't have to mess with the horn at all, but I did move the vacuum bottle. I just ziptied it to something inside, I forget what. I'll snap a pic later if I get a chance. One thing I'd recommend is painting or bedlining the area behind the bumper.
Yeah it's an extra step, but I can still see the white factory paint coming from the 1/4" gap occasionally and it bothers me. I'll get to it eventually, but it's a bigger pain now that the bumper's on.
One of my favorite jeeps on here, looking sharp. Remove the side trim and throw on the Rubicon anniversary wheels and it would look like what's want my 97 xj to finish up like. Bad ***

That means a lot!
I've thought about removing the side trim but this is my DD as well as my weekend explorer. My old Isuzu didn't have door moldings and it got 3-4 dings and dents from people parking too close to me in my parking lot at work over the span of about 2 years. I work on campus at a college, and well, you can probably guess who the culprits are.
Yeah both of mine are leaky too haha. how much was that cover? cant decide if i want to get new covers or just reuse the old ones
I've heard nothing but good things about the Teraflex HD30 and at just under $90 with with free shipping it was hard to beat. I got mine from RockRidge4WD. I always try to buy from CF sponsors when I can.
Installed the new Teraflex D30 cover and changed the fluid yesterday. A year ago I would have had absolutely no clue how to do any of this, but thanks to CF, I can do things like this now. This site is more valuable than some of you guys realize.
Added the Lube Locker sticker that came with my gasket under the hood. I'm almost completely out of room.
Also saw a new white KL Trailhawk while I was out today. Thought I'd snap a picture of both generations. I always forget how much beige is in "Stone White," until I park next to an actual white vehicle. You'd think it's just aged paint, but stone white definitely has an off white color to it.
Nice work, the XJ's looking great and the headlight upgrade is awesome......Looking at your build is making me get my act together LoL
I've been putting off an upgrade to my 01 Classic so I'm stepping it up from 31's to 33's (picked up the Maxxis Bighorns 33/12.50x15's on Saturday and I'm fitting them up today with balance beads) plus from 4" to 5" lift, swapping in next week a locked D44 to match up the Lokka/D30 up front and fitting the spare 4.88's sitting on the shelf forever. The other Mod's going on are Sliders, Rear Bar, Spare Wheel Carrier and I'll fabricate a Roof Slider/Basket + fit the Light bar/Flood/Ditch Lamps. About time I got into it again ready for a big trip in July
