Began work on my half doors today too. Ill be putting a piece if metal cross the middle to cover the gap on either side of the panels. Then pop riveting it in place.

Decided to draw up what i need to cover the inside of my half doors. Hopefully i can bend them up monday at work.
The top drawing is for the inside of door and the gap in between the panels. Then the bottom is for the gap in the sides of the doors.

If you havent already cut them yet, i like how Dennis did his and angled the cuts down to the middle section of the door. Thats purely ascetics of course but still lol, your plan sounds good though

Just FYI, if you have a dremel get the EZ max cut off wheel kit. Comes with the insert bit thing and like 5 wheels. Got me through my project for getting them off. On the passenger side be careful when making the final cuts lol... cut the hinge first then the plate under it to let the scrap piece fall out. Door plugs are easy too, especially with good GC ones. I got mine from huntingman (Travis) for $30 shipped up to me

I just put a sound bar behind my head lol And used to have some up under the lower dash. The EZ wheels are bigger than regular ones which dont make the full cut because you cant fit the wheel in there enough... Or at least not with the wheels i had
