Red '99: "Cool Intentions"
Alright so a little background. I'm 22 Live in Indianapolis. I bought my first Cherokee about 3 years ago, lifted it, built it up. And on Jan 14th a guy ran his red light and "totaled" it.

So a la his insurance I got a new Cherokee. I lucked out really good and met a nice lady on craigslist who sold me her xj.

Its got power windows and locks. Its really clean on the inside after I vacuumed it out. Has a jvc head unit that's starting to go out. Really my favorite thing is the sunroof. It's nice. Only flaw was she had hit a guard rail and smashed in the front bumper. It was rusted through completely too, probably from all the highway driving it seen.
Up until yesterday all I did was change the oil, replace a headlight and put new hatch shocks on it.
Yesterday though I tackled the bumper issue. The PO had bought a bumper and bracket and included them. Here's the old bumper. Quite rusted.

Here she is with no face

The place where the bumper bracket on passenger side was attached got bent so me and my dad tweaked it back with a crescent wrench.

The other side was a little bent and also had lost all its paint due to the atf leaking on it. So I hit it with some primer.

I decided to do some bed armor on this xj. Exspecially since I didn't want to try and match the bumper to the body color. I used Dupli Color
Bed armor in an aerosol can. Turned out nice. Just use thin boats and spray far away. I also sanded it down with 180 and cleaned it with grease remover stuff.

Here she is all together

All the bolts came out easy I Pb blasted it the day before too. I also added sum cheap 55w lights in the stock spot just for fun of it. I'm going to do the bumper caps on bed armor and throw em on sometime this week.

Tried to fix pics going to have to wait til I can get on a real computer to do it.
In the meantime. A list of plans.
Rough Country 4.5" longarm
Full springs, seen a lot of reference to a member named grimus?
33" bfg mt or 33" dura tracs
Pro comp 7031 wheels
Hnt sye with a refurbished drive shaft
And upgrade the stereo
And a bunch more
