Hi folks, m new around n will b uploading pictures of rebuilding a XJ I bought from a scrap yard. Previously I used to own a red 94 XJ, but after an accident, the vehicle got cancelled. By chance I came over another 92 XJ. took it real cheap from the scrap yard, and am rebuilding it, using parts from my dead piece.

After a wonderful trip in the soaring temperatures, the engine result was good.

The last few days was faced with a leakage in the fuel rail. Got the fuel pressure regulator replaced and its all back to normal. Back from the junk yard, I picked the complete interior of a XJ in maroon colour. Took me one full day with the help of 4 cousins to change the complete interior. Still got to replace the driver side dash board and the piece down on the driver side
Got new shocks installed.
Plus i got the rear view mirror moved more up towards the roof.

Nice build, i love when vehicles are brought back from being dismantled. I also like how you've built it using mainly used parts. Cool hood, I've never seen that one before.

Thx... and the hood idea came to me from an auto show. Saw something similar on a Nissan Skyline R34, and so got one fiber made for my XJ.

Also got myself hood clips, will get them afixed soon....

were the 90 crx seats ripped? and were they blue or black?
if they werent ripped youre gonna wish you didnt mess with them.
crx seats (expecially the black seats from an SI modle fetch a nice penny un ripped.
Basically if they were un ripped blue crx seats from a 90 - 91 you could have got 100 - 150 for the set. If they were black 100 - 200
if they were si seats 250 +
note that crx and civic hatchback are not the same. (I was a big time parts dealer in the crx world for a while)

They were black, and not so in good condition. I picked up both from the JY for $65.
