Project XL XJ
I needed a vehicle just for bombing around and doing whatever, so I picked up this Jeep. It rarely gets driven and just sits there, so I put it for sale.
I then realized I could have some fun with it when the weather isn't perfect. So then I would have a toy for all weather conditions.
Here's when I bought it.
I didn't like the orange lenses, or the saggy rear end, so I got some clear signals and some shackle relocation brackets for the rear.
It sat that way for a while, until I decided to do a few things.
These came in.
So I replaced these with them.
With a few more goodies as well.

Now I'm just waiting on some bumpers and a winch to make it a bit more capable offroad.
Finally, here's a pic of both my "Toys" together. My obsession with keeping my car perfectly clean is what drove me to get a Jeep I think. I wanted something to have fun in when the weather isn't perfect. The car never even leaves the garage if there's a grey cloud in the sky.
Now I can have fun in all weather conditions.

Well my sliders came in from AJ's Offroad Armor, and it looks like I'm going to have to cut up the bottoms of my Bushwackers a bit to make them fit.
Here's to hoping I do a decent job.
You need an XJ the color of mine to match your car.
This was all money that I was going to spend on the GTO this winter. I was going to put a forged stroker, and a bigger blower in, but decided it's fast enough as is (for now).
So far this project is much cheaper even after the bumpers, sliders, and winch too.
That would be me.
