I have to agree with you on this one. I was originally was just going to paint them body color and be done with it. But after running the truck with the grey flares on it for a while, I think they go along with the truck really well. I think they need to be painted if for no other reason than to protect the gel coat and surface of the flares, and people keep telling me to paint them black to match the bumpers. I think I am going to bondo/fiberglass in the joint line to the body and then hit them with some body color. But I think I am actually going to miss the grey color.

I need to add a filler piece in behind the rear wheel to the rear bumper. Plus the Frame reinforcements pushed the bumper back a bit and the lower panel armor will help close the gap. I think I am going black on the lower panel armor but body color on the fender flares. I think that will be a January project....add it to the list......

Should look good with the bondo/fiberglass filler...

Been off over the holidays so been spending my time getting a bunch of odds and ends wrapped up and cleaned up. Spent the last couple days chasing air leaks and getting the on-baord air to hold pressure. I think that's all fixed so I moved on to electrical issues. Finished running wires for the rock lights and power for the reverse circuit needed for the rear view mirror and camera. Also remounted the CB in a proper mounting rather than just hacking it up to the headliner. Also finisehd wiring the CB and Rearview mirror, hopefully the temp and compass are properly calibrated.
