Well there has been some time since I have posted. I have since done some minor stuff nothing really "cool" per se. I ripped out almost all of my AC this time. Removed a lot of the odds and ends from the harness wiring. Finished installing my fitch box. Slashed up my rear tire so I purchased larger Fenders from Napier and love them They are built for tucked rear quarter panels. Also finished welding up passenger side floor boards. Still have some small pin holes to patch up.

After pulling everything apart I'm going to figure out a way to use wing nuts and a harness connection so that I can pull apart the front end without tools and service anything in there easier.

Fixed my brake knuckle threads.... Now need to weld up the grooves in the knuckle cut by the pads. Pick up some engine mounts and hopefully will replace those this week.

I put the truck up on on the jacks and went thought it and made a list of winter projects... unfortunately most involve taking the jeep out of commission for a couple of days at a time. The good thing is that a good friend of mine owns a large heated factory and is going to let me do the work inside. I'm going to pull pretty much all of my rear end apart and re build it. So here is the new list.

- New rear bumper
- Repairing and bracing my unibody from the back forward
- Finishing stripping and bed lining my interior and making it water friendly
- Repairing my headliner
- Adding reverse lights
- Replacing interior lighting with white LEDs
- Bracing leaf spring perches and adding 1 inch lift shackles
- Extending brake lines again
- Repairing brake knuckles grooves for smoother operation
- Welding up rear wheel wells and rear lower quarters to be water tight
- Relocating shock mounts
- SYE and new rear drive shaft
- Pulling and repainting diff covers and oil pan skid
- Replacing rear hatch struts
- Bed lining roof
- New headlight harness
- Flowdaddy headers and welding all exhaust joints
- Finishing coiled diff breather and other breather extensions

That is enough stuff for now. Let me know if anyone has any ideas of suggestions.

Thanks for reading!

The exhaust manifold crack grew another inch so some Flowdaddy headers and engine mounts are on their way. Pretty soon I plan to spend a day and get a bunch of my list done.

Took longer than I expected but the header is in! I only install the driver side motor mount as i ran out of time. I plan to install the other one soon. I included a photo of the crap that was in my fuel rail. Before there was a slight misfire and after it was runs so much smoother.

Default Electrical!

Pulled my center console and ripped the ash tray out of it. Going to put my battery kill switch in that spot so it looks clean. Just have to fab everything up tomorrow and bolt it in place. This will split the batteries manually when the vehicle is off and act as a emergency self jumper. I'm also really tempted to install a capacitor bank that would act as a redundant starter failsafe in addition to my dual batteries. Instead of running terminals to the front and back that I could plug jumper cables into I can just unplug the capacitor bank and jump another vehicle or myself anywhere. Should also have time tomorrow to weld up and bolt in the passenger seat.

Well today turned out to be a lot more busy than I expected... And my little project hasn't been as easy as I thought. Decided to go with plastic versus metal as it will look a lot more clean with the tools I have. Cutting the hole was a lot harder since I didn't have any cut off wheels for the Dremel... So tomorrow I will continue.
