Project Tyrannosaurus Flex aka money hole
Hey all my name is Nate im from Eastern Pa. My build is a 98 xj red.
I started off with a 97 2 dr 5 spd
Rip
Now I have the 98, put a 4 inch R.E. superlift kit on it.
It is my daily driver and commuter for 4 hours to pittsburgh yet I wanted to go bigger so I decided to buy the Rough Country long arm and some Pro comp a/t 33's which brings me to where I am today.
I don't have any good pics yet didnt take her out.
The build to come shortly and more pics

The build
Well here it goes I didn't take too many pictures just wanted to get it done.
I didn't have jackstands so I used the trailor park equivalent
We started off with the rear pretty much everything came out nicely since the lift wasnt too old. We only had problems with the front bolt on the rear leaf being stripped so we just welded a new bolt in there with a washer.
New full leafs and U-bolts cake walk done...
Lots of parts blaster and never seize went into this install, and also with the help of friends and a breaker bar.
The rear is simple enough we all know how its done here not rocket surgery..... no fabrication or anything interesting... now on to the front end.
Safe? I think so
We tore out the old control arms and such pretty fast with no problems then we had to do some of the prep for the new parts.
With a cheap skill saw and 2 blades I get the stock brackets off, not too shabby of a cut for a rookie... Thats not me in the background thats my help.
The new shocks springs and brake lines installed all pretty easily....
The flex joints for the control arms threaded on pretty roughly lots of never seize once again used. had to put them in a vice and screw them on with a bar through the eyelit.
Another problem is I ram rodded when I was taking the transmission crossmember off and I snapped the heads off of 3 out of 4 transmission mount bolts
Like I said didnt run into any rust issues or anything out of the ordinary. Any questions about anything ask me or any picture request thanks all for reading my build so far much more to come.

Anyway I give you mad props for doing this in the driveway and not in a garage.!
I hope I am finished with mine someday soon.
