Hmmm.. I like the blue as a stand alone color but.... Black or grey would fit your jeep better..... IMO....

Also what is up with your passenger side coil spring at the axle mount??

looking good. like the new color on the winch. I agree with your thoughts though. I think I like the grey bumper better then the blue.

yeah, I know it needs to be silver or grey. I'm debating dealing with it for now or pulling it off to shoot it again. I've also been kicking around the idea of selling both my bumpers and incorporating front and rears into the exo cage.

A lot of people end up incorporating them. One question I ask to you then, which would be easier: Un-bolting the bumpers when you need them out of the way OR cutting them off to gain access when needed?

Also, take into consideration every time you think you want to change bumper colors!

So far the only issues I am having with it right now is the C Bushings pushing out the side of the arm when I flex it out hard. I think the way my coil buckets are mounted is affecting it quite a bit, i am going to move the coil bucket mounts off of the arms, build a bracket over the top of the arms and mount the coil buckets above the arms. I think this will help a ton. I really do not want to wrist one of the arms. I think if moving the buckets doesn't fix it completely I will build some guards on the side of the arms to hold the bushings in. It hasn't been a huge problem, but after a few days of wheeling the bushings start pushing out. Other than problem I am loving it so far. I did break an outer shaft last trip to Moab, that sucked. I am convinced that shaft was already hurt though. When I bought the axle the right side U joint was broken and trashed, so he had been beating it pretty hard. I never inspected the shafts when I put the new U joints in, but i'm pretty sure the shaft had to have been hurt previously.

And of course I get the kids out, they love going out wheeling: both to be in the Jeep, and out in the dirt. I wish my wife loved the Jeep as much as them, I'd be set.

I try to share as much about the build as I can, help give people some ideas of what, and what not to do. But yeah, it does take some time and I don't always get everything I want into the thread. But I do the best I can.
I have saddles welded on the axle tubes and a plate bolted between the saddles and the original mounts on the radius arms for the coils to sit on. They work fine for aligning side to side. I am going to modify the plate with a wedge like you made to get them tilted back correctly front to back.

Just wondering if you have some inside info on why wristing one of the arms is not a good idea? Seems like it should help quite a bit. Also, would you think the 1.5x 2.25 x .375 wall DOM would be ok for the radius arms? I think I am going to redo mine similar to yours. Sounds like it should be strong enough to me. Thanks again and hope all the questions are ok.

I checked your setup out. I think I may try the same thing. I think having a plate bolted to the top of the arm, and to a welded solid mount will keep the arm from twisting and pushing the bushing out.

Wristing isn't a bad idea, I just don't want to go through that hassle if I can find an easier solution. Plus I want to change my coil bucket mounts and I like the way the plate your coil buckets are bolted to the arm. .375 wall should be plenty strong for the arms I would say.

Fab on Brotha!

Bezels arrived yesterday, should have them on in a couple days.

Also scored a set of 37" MTR's i'm going to be installing this week.. beads will be going silver again while i'm at it. Along with the bumpers. I'm not digging the blue.

Cool man! Full widths are where it's at... you doing a t-case swap for the passenger side drop or did you re-tube it? Let's hear some more about it.
