Nick, they are the same tires as the Cooper STT. In fact, Cooper makes the tires for Pro-Comp, Mickey Thompson, and Dick Cepek.

I chose them because I wanted an 8 ply tire. Most 285 tires are 10 ply and extremely stiff. Airing down with a 10 ply produces very little sidewall deflection.

I'll try something differnt for my next tire ... but this is what I decided to start with.

It's all a compromise.

Hey man I haven't forgotten about those rocker specs. I am still searching through all my stuff from moving. I may have a short piece in my scrap pile back at my old shop. If that's the case Ill saw off 1/2" and ship it to you for a template.

Hey Andy .... thanks ! I've been hit with stupid non-Jeep stuff and kind of forgot about them for the week.

Either way ... your help with the rockers is appreciated !

Hardly .... this is simply experience & trial and error. I do have some schooling to help and I do more reading/studying than most people. But nothing you couldn't figure out yourself.

If I was as smart as you are suggesting .... this company would be doing a LOT better than it is. And the damned thing would be done already.

I really don't have that much money. None of these parts are sponsored by the companies I sell. That is ONE part of the reason why this is taking me so long.

Hopefully the posts helped give you some ideas for your own build. You're more than welcome to get any parts you need from me, however.
