Lift is done. the rear sits much higher, hopefully the springs settle some. Next up is transmission/transfer case swap. I think I need to order a SYE and driveshaft from Adam's.
Well, the 4x4 conversion is officially done, no more bluetooth front driveshaft. I just received my SYE and rear driveshaft from Adams this afternoon. SYE install this weekend.
Of note for those considering converting their Jeep to 4x4, the only things needed other than the obvious.
1. I had to extend the VSS wiring due to the sensor being on the transfer case instead of on the transmission.
2. I will not have a 4x4 indicator light on the dash, as the wiring is not there on the 2wd( if you don't know you are in 4x4, you probably should not own a Jeep).
Other than that, everything is a direct bolt in and having a parts Jeep to get the shifter bezel, etc.was nice.
I plan to swap my Jeep to 4x4 one of these days. I guess the wires for the indicator can't be swapped from the parts Jeep? Thanks for the heads up.
I guess you could, but I definitely wouldn't go thru all the trouble of running the wiring harness to do it. If it was a vehicle without a manual transfer case lever, I could see wanting to.
