So I got these in yesterday. I've got a buddy whose a rough country dealer and he could get me the whole long arm kit for like $1500. I bought the upgrade kit off ebay for like $650 and the springs for another $120. I'm pretty sure I can piece the whole kit together for way cheaper that his price.

Enough about how big my tires are. Ha I'm gonna put these in place of the 35/30.
dana 44 full width out an old f150
12 bolt chevy. And before I get bombarded with questions about this one, I've already got wheels to fit, 4.56 gears, detroit locker, superior axles, and i'm gonna put a truss on it. I think it will be fine.

As for the rear suspension, I'm goin cheap and making a bastard pack with S10 leaves, drop hanger, revolver shackles, and some 1" zero rate add a leaf. I'm hoping that will give me enough lift to match the front.
I'd love to keep the 4" blocks in the rear just for their sheer strength and years of tried and true performance on and off the trail , but they're gonna have to go.

It looks like you've got a good build ahead of you. I'd advise you do some searching through the advanced tech (use the search tool on here) to find out more on the axle swaps if you have questions. There's a ton of knowledge on here. Oh, and it's a good thing you're losing the blocks. It may not happen to everyone, but blocks increase the chances of warping your leaf springs, which is NEVER a good thing. Also, definitely check with Grimmus on here for anything from RC. He'll get you a better price than anywhere/anyone else for future parts you want/need.

note to self: No one on here has a sense of humor. Don't make jokes. They'll just be wasted.

Ok i'm gonna try and salvage this thread if Mr. Editor will let me. I promise to play nice, not make jokes, not call anyone a name, only tell the truth no matter how funny a lie might be, and not snap when someone makes a not-so-smart comment.
I'd like to retract my first thread where as I made a bold face lie in telling everyone I had a 12" lift and 40's. I can see where this may have fooled a couple of jeep professionals seeing that 33's look almost identical to 40's. I apologize for the confusion. I'll make sure this doesn't happen again. I have learned my lesson.
Moving on, I was in a pull a part this past weekend and stumbled across some pretty decent leather interior
I only paid $55 for both front and back seats. And I swear if Grimus sells these at a discounted price i'm gonna me a little upset.

I picked up this Warn X8000I winch this morning. The guy said it didn't work. Got home with it and hooked it up. If you tap the motor it starts to work. I tore it down to find everything inside the motor rusted. I ordered a heavy duty motor from DB electric in TN. Guy said it would be a little stronger and pull a little faster. It didn't cost but like $30 more so why not
