I finally got my thrust washers for the d30 carrier and finished up installing the locker today.Topped it off with some fresh 75/90 and bolted on my home brew diff cover(not tightened up in pic I was waiting on the rtv to set a lil bit).Took it for a test drive and everything seems to work great.I painted the diff cover white for now.....sure that wont last much past one wheeling trip but I like it for now lol.Got some orings for the oil filter adapter but my t60 bit/socket wont fit in there so I gotta find a t60 wrench.I finally got my thrust washers for the d30 carrier and finished up installing the locker today.Topped it off with some fresh 75/90 and bolted on my home brew diff cover(not tightened up in pic I was waiting on the rtv to set a lil bit).Took it for a test drive and everything seems to work great.I painted the diff cover white for now.....sure that wont last much past one wheeling trip but I like it for now lol.Got some orings for the oil filter adapter but my t60 bit/socket wont fit in there so I gotta find a t60 wrench.

Great build... You are working on the one thing I've never done. the gears.. I've done engine rebulds, carbs, generators, alternators, ps pumps, brakes and even a 700R4 but the gears just scare me ... Guess I'll have to have someone else do it.

Gears really aren't too bad. Just need a few "special" tools. There are several write ups around on how to do them. I had help doing mine and have since done the back by myself.

Looking good Skunk....Hopefully I'll get my locker back soon and we'll get some good snow to go play in

Jeep looks awesome. Are you planning on regearing?

I assume you used the same duplicolor bedliner for the rockers and rear 1/4's?

Yep its the same..bedliner.Not sure if I am gonna regear these axles or not,an axle swap is where i want to head so cant see sinking anymore money in them if i do a 8.8 and a 44.its not my dd either so I can live with the gears for now.

Radiator for sure.Wont know about the HG untilled I put in the new Rad.Water was dripping off the bottom of the bell housing after I started it to see if the oil filter adapter I fixed was leaking.Just sitting there in the drive way and started to leak water back there and then the Rad blew.Hoping for just a leaky freeze plug and the Rad was just coincidental.I will stick in a new thermostat and cap too.Keep my fingers crossed
