I know the size is 15x7, I just want to get black wheels on it. (not a big fan of chrome or brushed aluminum or silver or whatever you want to call it.

Ya I didn't know what to name the build so I just put the color of it cause I had the spec sheet right in front of me.

I'm looking into this right now. I found a Midland CB on amazon for thirty bucks and its tiny its 5x7x2 but i'm not sure if this is a good brand and I also need to find a good antenna. (i'm guessing a firestick?) also do you or anyone know where I can get a mount for the rear without having to drill holes. (I might have to fab one up)

Forgive me if I over looked it but what size lift did you go with, and did you get the control arm drop kit separate or did it come as a complete kit?

BTW that is a nice rig.

OK so since i'm stuck out of town for work i've been designing some things but i've also been deciding what size tires to go with. I've been looking at 32" but I don't want to have to trim just yet so Maybe 31"'s any opinions/suggestions?

Post I posted this on another part also. any comments would be great

So if you want look at my build to get an idea of what I have.

Ok so a few question:

1. Different wheels/rims: I Like the over used Crager soft 8's (15x8) and I was looking at the Maxxis Big Horns (32x11.5) I just need some advise if this is a reliable set up and if not what you recommend.

2. Fender trim with or with out bushwacker flat fenders.

3. Off-road light choice. (I have already purchased a rack)

4 Idler switch. (I've heard about it but not quite sure how to do it or what the purpose is really)

5. I have 3.55 ratio. would 3.73 gears be enough or what is recommended?

6. Other mods that would really help me get the most out of my XJ.

I think you should go with 4:11 gears, and if you really feel inclined to cut the fenders, I think you should add flares. Maybe the bushwacker flat flares or rusty's flares?
