Got a new serpentine belt, Haynes manual, new mechanical temp gauge. Didn't put any of it in yet. Checked fluids. Took my front discos up and need to find a way to hold em up so I rigged it for wheeling today so tomorrow I'll get some cable and make something. Went wheeling with a 2.5 wrangler. Yota suv. And a Subaru outback haha. Kid beat on the Subaru so bad I felt so bad for it. It was his parents car and he was romping it through some ruts. Oh well not my car. Funny to watch though. Drove in a thunder storm with frot sway bar disconnected. Kinda awesome. Kinda just want to take it off. Washed it at like 10pm even though it was pretty clean from the storm I just don't like mud underneath it trying to cause rust lol. Good day. Maybe some new stuff tomorrow.

just an update, jeep has been running fine. ive been playing more with my subaru and jeep just gets out on the road every now and then, going to hopefully finish lifting my friends yj today thats getting an SOA lift. then maybe we will go wheeling tonight. my stock trac bar bracket on my axle i think the bolt hole is ovaling out because it pops when i steer. sooo i have to take the bottom bolt off the track bar and make sure that is whats happening, then ill make a new bracket and weld it on. most of my money is going into the wrx now but i still want to give my xj a paint job.

Here's a picture of my stock headlights then a picture with my hella 700's on I want to paint where the plastic edge an the glass meet alittle longer so it doesn't glare back at me so much when they're on. But love the visibility. Can't wait to get more.

oh ok yes the cone style will let you hear the air being sucked in. but for offorading id go back to stock box with stock filter or a k&n drop in filter. u wont have the cool noise but you also wont have a hydro locked engine when you jeep sucks in water wheeling. it depends what your style of wheeling is though. if your going through water switch to stock box or snorkel. since its just for street now u can keep the cone and get better mpgs but personally id lose it
