Potentialy pickin up a 00 xj tommoro as long as he follows thru for 1000 $

Stats:
-29sp c8.25 w/ 4.10s and a detriot locker
-NEW HP d30 w/one ton steering/4.10s
All gears have like 5k max
-NP231 w/ sye
-gas tank skid
-jcr rear bumper
-unknown front bumper
Jeppers and creppers 62mm TB
-6.5" RC lift kit
-32x11.5 goodyear mtrs

I'm gonna swap the axles and the tcase over and re sell it to my buddy that been wanting to get into a xj, for a 1000 $ so I make a profit in parts (i.e like 2kin axles and tcase) and he gets a built xj for 1000 $

win win

Project Scarlett: taking my time and doing it right the first time-101_3182.jpg

the xj is MINE!

tommorrow ill be pulling the front winch bumper off the 00, and installing it on my xj. it came with a winch but it currently doesnt work. the PO told me it was just a bad solenoid in which case ill have a working smitty built for dirt cheep

once january hits ill have weekends off and ill swap in the axles. ill do the rear first(c8.25 w/ 4.10s and a detroit) and swap in its np231 w/sye and proper speedo gear for 4.10s

im excited

Yea my buddy put it up for sale and I called him up immediately lol.

Any who.... FINALLY SOME REAL PROGRESS

Got the winch/bumper and grill guard all mounted today!! (This lights came with it, they not staying)

I only smashed my hands a few times.

The chance also had a steering box brace that I didn't know about so that'll go on soon.

Th winch currently doesn't work but all it needs is a solenoid and it'll be good to go

EDIT; did some googling and found out the bumpers a C4x4 winch bumper

Painted my d rings and tinkered with the 00..still don't know what's wrong

since addind the bumper/winch she rides alot softer..i kinda like it...no where near harsh yet my braking ability has gone down greatly

EDIT: i think ive found out whats wrong. the cam sensor synchronizer has a lot of slop in it. ive got a new one on order so the 00 should be running soon
