Honestly I'm running rancho9000s and very happy with them. I have them set on the softer side and it's a nice ride. A good option would also be a set of the rustys hd 3 inch springs 180 would be nice. But 230 will be perfect with a winch and winch bumper.
I also will be pushing a boat so I need th extra support.

I dont think ill run a winch but definatly an off road bumper. I want a ride pretty close to stock or better. 230 lbs would ride about the same wth an extra 100lbs on the front end?

On another note.. this xj has basicly all new engine. The cooling system is all brand new minus the water pump new a/c compressor / alternator/ p/s pump and lines/ vc gasket and pcv valves 2 brand new rear tires and 4 new shocks all the way around all professonaly intalled at a jeep only shop n austin. And all of this was in the last 15,000 miles!!! WIN!!!!!!!

All it needs is a trans flush, oil change(diffs and engine) plugs/wires/cap/rotor. And a new exaust manfold. (Of course)

Compared to stock it's not to bad.
100 pounds of weight on the front would almost make it soft.
Riding in it now I am very happy, rides like a suburban maybe a bit harder.

Looking good buddy. Plasti dip came out sweet. And X100 on the engine enamel. That's what I did my valve cover/diffs/throttle body in. It holds up great. I did my skid plate in it too. But lime green for me .

Yea im really diggin the plasti-dip. I love the finish it gives. Yea i wanted to use something high heat and that red is super sexy . Im going for black and red. That combo is my favorite. I know its been done before but i dont care lol . I want to do my valve cover but its got a new gasket already and its NOT LEAKING so i dont want to scare it. Lol. As soon as i get my taxes ima do my mini lift and some M/T's. Will probly do a bumper in the summer. An call it good till about october when i have free time again and a bunch of money saved up
