so this weekend i should hopefully be fixing the windshield, the plan is to cut the column out of my other XJ and stitch weld it to my new one. hope it works! on another note, anybody have ideas on where to mount my CB? i was thinking above the top roll cage bar but stil not sure, any ideas would be appreciated =] thanks guys

painted and mounted the bumper, had to straighten out the metal a bit so i tied it to the back of my dads suburban =p

Nice work so far, had to do the same thing with my rear quarter panel when I got hit. Thats a wicked bumper to, where'd you get it at?

I have to do it to the back left corner too. And the bumper was on it from the po. But thanks I really like it

Ahh, sorry about that lol I guess I somehow thought it was a different one but saw you just re-painted it and I'd have to agree with you there, it looks like a good dune and wheeling bumper

yeah lol it looked kind of goofy white it stood out too much

so i swapped the bumper with the one my dad and i made that was on my 88 an found a hide a key in the process lol

I bought a jeep once and took it to the car wash and while washing under it a hid a key came out of it. it made me laugh. jeep looks really good. is the cage from rock hard? it looks like there kit.

The back seat that was in the jeep looked like something somebody added, but left no leg room and u could not fold the seats down. so I put the bench seat in from my old jeep

So I've been thinking about it and im pretty sure im going to chop the back. My hatch will not open and its hard to get to the back. So I figure why not? My plan is to replace the metal with a tarp type thing going over the roll bar similar to the back section of a wrangler. And thoughts or ideas maybe advice on how to do this would be great. Thanks in advance

so i chopped the back and im pretty happy with how it came out. let me know what you guys think

started by removing the windows and shortening the outter rool cage.
